I have been trying to avoid writing about politics. But this time around I can't. The shit that McCain's campaign is shitting out of it's ass is absolutely ridiculous. I can't even believe that they have said some of the things that they have. How can you take such a nasty shit and reveal it to the public?
I used to have a lot of respect for McCain. He used to be on the Daily Show quite often and I admired the man. I thought he would make a great president long before he even entered this race. I admired the man because he was a POW and suffered for 5 and a half years of brutal internment during the Vietnam War. I liked the man because as a Republican, he was one of the most moderate. I enjoyed listening to him talk with Jon Stewart. Now the man and his campaign just piss me off.
I don't know how he went from being someone I liked to being a complete fuck face. The guy is seriously an asshole piece of shit fucker. And if he is not directly responsible for some of the statements that have been made, he allowed them to be said.

Apparently McCain wants to stay in Iraq a lot longer than they want us to be there. McCain is afraid that if we leave too soon, we will be disgraced once again just as we were with the Vietnam War. I don't understand this one bit. The guy came from a military family. His father and grandfather were both four star admirals. I do understand the mans fear of defeat. But the underlying problem with the whole Iraq issue is this, no one has been able to define what winning would be. No one can definitively say what it would mean to have won in Iraq.
The Iraqis want us the fuck out of their country. We need to leave. If their Prime Minster and the majority of their leaders want us out, we should get the fuck out. We wrote them a new Constitution. We helped form their new government and their police and military. It's time for us to leave and let them take care of themselves. Obama said he wants to be out of Iraq within 16 months (I believe) after he is elected. The Iraqi government agrees with this time frame. However, McCain is a fuck tard and wants to stay longer. If their government doesn't want us to be there longer, why the fuck does McCain think we need to be there longer?
This world has changed tremendously since World War II. The United States can't win every war. We won the war with Iraq. We took Saddam out of power and devised a new government and rulers for the country. Look at what happened with Japan in WWII. Even look at Germany. Though the violence was not as widespread as it has been in Iraq, the people of both countries I mentioned had their own dissidents who were violent. It's time to leave Iraq and let them take care of themselves and work out their own issues. Maybe the best answer to it all would be to split the country into many countries. But that's a whole post on its own.
So McCain was originally thinking we need to be there for a few more years and he criticized Obama for not having enough experience to say that we should be out of Iraq so soon. After Obama met with the Iraqis and they publicly agreed with Obama, McCain seems to have changed his mind. He's now saying that doesn't seem like such a bad idea.source The mother fucker. I fucking hate politics.
And apparently our government is trying to establish 50 permanent military bases in Iraq. I guess we're waiting for them to vote on it. And I hear that under this agreement, we don't have to tell the Iraqis how many troops we have at each base and they will have immunity from Iraq law. Fuck that.
This latest mud slinging is what really pisses me off. McCain has accused Obama of using the race card. The following transcript from Obama:
"So nobody really thinks that Bush or McCain have a real answer for the challenges we face, so what they're going to try to do is make you scared of me," he told voters in Springfield. "You know, he's not patriotic enough. He's got a funny name. You know, he doesn't look like all those other Presidents on those dollar bills, you know. He's risky. That's essentially the argument they're making."
McCain campaign manager Rick Davis countered this morning with a terse but harsh statement: "Barack Obama has played the race card, and he played it from the bottom of the deck. It's divisive, negative, shameful and wrong."
Fucking asshole. I really don't see Obama pulling the race card. He's fucking black. So fucking what. He's stating the obvious. He didn't say anything that is "shameful and wrong." Who gives a fuck if he said he doesn't look like all the other Presidents. It's fucking true. Look at the guy. Here is the best part about it all though:
"Barack Obama is going out every day talking about the struggles of Americans, the struggles of Americans losing their homes and their jobs, and all John McCain can talk about is Barack Obama, because he doesn't have anything to say about the people of this country struggling in this economy," said Barack Obama campaign spokesman Linda Douglass, adding her candidate was not playing the race card when he made his remarks yesterday.
I am voting for Barack Obama. McCain is an old bastard and a sellout. He's more of a Republican now than he has ever been. He's worried about the real Republicans liking him and he should be worried because most of them don't trust the fucker. I'm voting for Obama. Yes, he's black. That doesn't bother me one bit. Yes, he's a Muslim. Who the fuck cares what his religion is. Maybe he'll be a little more sympathetic towards the people of the Middle East and maybe he won't be such a fucking idiot about invading other countries. Maybe he'll be able to keep us from going to war with Iran. Maybe he'll be able to help our economy out and make the dollar worth a little more than the shit that it is worth today. Maybe he'll be able to help the middle class who are on the verge of being poor.
Obama was a constitutional lawyer. He understands the constitution more than McCain and certainly more than Bush. That is what I want. I want someone who understands the legal document that our government runs off.
