Without the television and it's accompanying interweb, music has been a relief. It is crazy how much of my life has been spent on the internet. I get all my news and learn a lot of interesting things on the web. Most of the crazy knowledge I have was learned on the interweb. I miss the interweb at home and I am glad I get to use it at work.

I really can't get over the people who work at fast food restaurants. Their lives have to suck major ass. How the fuck can you go to work everyday into a place like that? I love my fast food don't get me wrong, but those people working there have to hate their lives. I've ranted on this before. I still can't get over the college kids who work there. The money is shit. I honestly am never going to work anywhere making less than $10 an hour. It isn't worth it to me to work and make shit pay. I'm almost making $14 an hour. I could get a raise if I asked for one. I'm just saving for the right time. I make twice what the twats who work fast food are making. I totally understand how it is for those meat wallets working there. They have no other skills whatsoever. They don't have anything to offer at another job. They're fucking Debbie Downers who are hoping that the degree they are working for will lead to a better job. Get that degree and you still won't have a resume. My resume kicks ass. I have a far ranging list of previous employment with varying fields of work. I have had to deal with customers and businesses in a service based business. That is one of the most important things to have on a resume. And working at fucking Taco Bell or Wendy's doesn't give you people skills. Fuck the people that work at those places. The college kids who work there are fucking useless.

In my life, I have worked a total of one labor intensive job. I enjoyed it but I was also 16. And I worked there for a summer and that was it. I have some damn good people skills. I love working in an office setting. I love being able to look outside my office window and see the laborers who are making $8 an hour working twice as hard as I am because they are machines trained to do a series of simple, mindless tasks. The people working in the back are just the same as those working in fast food restaurants. You take 20 minutes to train them on their first day and they're able to be a good worker within two weeks.

I enjoy a job where everyday is something different. I enjoy a job where I am challenged on a daily basis to do new things and learn new things in the process. I enjoy a job where I am an asset, not a commodity. I could never work at a mindless job where you aren't challenged. And I really look forward to my new position that will be even more challenging and rewarding.

And please don't get me wrong. I have respect for the people who are older and have to keep that job to pay bills and whatnot. I just can't stand college kids who work at places like that because their work ethic is seriously fucked. They are dreaming of a better job when they get that piece of paper. Keep working at your fast food restaurant. Keep getting shit wages and keep being a piece of shit. Keep on smelling like shit and being my bitch when I come through the drive thru window. High school is different than college. Get a fucking life. You shouldn't be in your 20's in college working at Wendy's. I'm glad I don't know a single person who works at a fast food restaurant because I'd hate to have to associate with them.

And when it comes time for me to have my own business and be in charge of hiring, I will always ask college grads, "why did you work at Taco Bell for 3 years?" Chances are you won't get the job unless your answer blows my mind.
